Youth Consulting is generally available for children ages 12+, though the age cut-off is flexible and depends on a child’s ability to engage independently with their Child and Youth Mental Health Consultant by email and/or text (parents and caregivers are welcome to assist where needed, but Youth Consulting is meant to be accessed mostly independently). During Youth Consulting, the child engages directly with the Child and Youth Mental Health Consultant and works toward self-identified goals and building self-awareness using a structured yet flexible approach. Each week includes one guided ‘homework’ activity (activities are tailored to each child’s age, interests, and needs). The Child and Youth Mental Health Consultant will check in with your child several times each week and your child will be able to reach out to their Consultant at any time during their block. Youth Consulting is purchased in 8-week blocks, and can be renewed as many times as you would like, with subsequent blocks building on previous ones (activities and themes are not repeated - each session is tailored to a child’s individual needs).
